Terms of Use
Effective Date: August 2, 2026
These Terms of Use govern your access to Cooper’s Guitar Hub, Nail That Tone, and related services operated by Cooper’s Guitar Setup & Repair.
By creating an account, making a purchase, or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority where you live to make a purchase or enter into these Terms.
A minor may use the service only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information
- Maintaining the security of your account
- Protecting your password and login access
- Activity performed through your account
- Notifying us of suspected unauthorized access
You may not share an account in a way that allows multiple unrelated people to avoid purchasing their own access.
2. Service Description
Cooper’s Guitar Hub may provide features for:
- Guitar and bass records
- Setup and repair history
- Practice information
- Work orders
- Measurements
- Photos
- Notes
- Reminders
- Subscription features
- Digital products
- AI-generated tone blueprints
Features may change, improve, be replaced, or be discontinued.
3. Nail That Tone Standard
A Nail That Tone Standard purchase currently includes:
- One-time purchase price of $27 USD
- Ten AI-generated tone-blueprint credits
- Standard generation mode
- Saved access to completed blueprints
- No recurring subscription charge for the Standard purchase
One successfully completed blueprint normally uses one credit.
A whole-song blueprint counts as one blueprint even when it contains multiple tones or presets.
A failed generation that does not deliver a valid blueprint should automatically restore the reserved credit.
Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred between unrelated accounts.
4. Nail That Tone Pro
Nail That Tone Pro is a separate one-time upgrade currently priced at $27 USD.
Pro:
- Unlocks advanced generation features
- Uses the buyer’s existing blueprint-credit balance
- Does not automatically include additional credits unless expressly stated at checkout
- Requires an active or otherwise valid Standard entitlement
Pro functionality, models, output structure, and features may evolve.
4a. Blueprint Add-Ons (Pedalboard Blueprint, Pickup Upgrade Matchmaker)
The Pedalboard Blueprint Add-On and the Pickup Upgrade Matchmaker are separate one-time add-ons, each currently priced at $19 USD.
Each add-on:
- Requires an active or otherwise valid Standard entitlement
- Unlocks an additional blueprint type inside the application
- Uses the buyer’s existing blueprint-credit balance and includes no additional credits
- Consumes one blueprint credit per successfully completed generation, the same as a tone blueprint
- May be released, adjusted, or temporarily switched off while features are being tested
Pickup and gear recommendations are informational suggestions based on the details submitted. They are not a guarantee of availability, pricing, fit, or resale value, and installation work remains the buyer’s responsibility.
5. Additional Blueprint Credits
Additional credit packs may be offered.
The current 10-credit pack is priced at $17 USD.
Credit packs:
- Add the stated number of credits
- May be purchased more than once
- Do not create a second Standard license
- Are linked to the purchasing account
- Are not transferable
- Have no cash-redemption value
6. Personal-Use License
Purchases grant a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal use.
You may:
- Generate blueprints for your own instruments, practice, recording, or performances
- Save your completed blueprints
- Print or download your own completed blueprints
- Use settings from your blueprints in personal and commercial musical performances or recordings
You may not:
- Share, publish, distribute, sell, sublicense, or reveal the protected master prompt
- Resell access to the generator
- Share your account to avoid additional purchases
- Sell generated blueprint services to third parties without written permission
- Copy substantial protected application content to create a competing product
- Attempt to extract server-side prompts, secrets, code, or provider credentials
- Circumvent credit limits, purchase controls, access gates, or security systems
- Use automation to generate excessive requests
- Exploit, probe, disrupt, reverse engineer, or interfere with the service
7. AI Output and Tone Limitations
Nail That Tone produces recommendations using artificial intelligence and the information you provide.
Tone is affected by many variables, including:
- Guitar construction
- Pickups
- Electronics
- Strings
- Tuning
- Playing technique
- Pick attack
- Amplifier or modeler
- Cabinets and speakers
- Firmware
- Software versions
- Volume
- Room acoustics
- Recording chain
- Mixing and mastering
We do not guarantee:
- An exact duplication of a commercial recording
- An artist-endorsed setting
- That every suggested model or effect name exactly matches every firmware or app version
- That every setting will work identically on every instrument
- That a suggested setting is the only correct setting
- That AI output is error-free
Model and effect names may vary by app, device, software, region, or firmware. Users should verify available controls before applying settings.
AI output is educational and practical guidance, not a warranty of exact sonic duplication.
8. Equipment Safety
Use reasonable judgment when changing volume, gain, EQ, amplifier, speaker, or effect settings.
Begin at a safe volume.
We are not responsible for:
- Hearing injury
- Speaker damage
- Amplifier damage
- Equipment failure
- Data loss
- Damage caused by unsafe operation
- Damage caused by unsupported wiring or hardware modification
- Injury or loss caused by ignoring equipment-manufacturer instructions
Consult a qualified technician before performing repairs, wiring, soldering, electrical work, or physical modifications.
9. Payments and Billing
Payments are processed through Stripe or another displayed payment provider.
You agree to provide valid payment information and authorize the stated charge.
Prices and included features are shown at checkout.
Taxes may be charged where required.
Accidental duplicate charges should be reported promptly and will be reviewed separately from satisfaction-based refund requests.
Chargebacks or payment disputes do not automatically cancel these Terms or authorize continued use of refunded access.
10. Refunds
Refund requests are governed by the Refund Policy available at /refund-policy.
Refunding or reversing a Nail That Tone purchase may:
- Revoke future generation access
- Revoke Pro access
- Remove unused credits associated with the refunded purchase
- Leave previously completed blueprints available in read-only form
- Prevent additional generations
We may deny refund requests that do not meet the stated policy, subject to applicable law.
11. Availability and Changes
We aim to provide reliable access but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
The service may be unavailable because of:
- Maintenance
- Provider outages
- Payment-provider issues
- Model-provider issues
- Rate limits
- Credit limits
- Security incidents
- Network failures
- Legal or compliance requirements
- Events outside our reasonable control
We may temporarily disable AI generation without disabling the rest of the application.
12. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for:
- Fraud
- Payment reversal
- Account sharing
- Abuse
- Security threats
- Attempts to extract protected prompts or secrets
- Circumvention of credits or access controls
- Illegal activity
- Material violation of these Terms
Termination does not require deletion of records that we must retain for legal, payment, tax, fraud-prevention, or security purposes.
13. User Content
You retain your rights in information and content you submit, subject to the permission needed for us and our service providers to process it and provide the service.
You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, format, and store submitted content solely as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.
You represent that you have the right to submit the content you provide.
Do not submit unlawful, infringing, confidential, or highly sensitive information.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We disclaim implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Cooper’s Guitar Setup & Repair will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost recordings, lost data, equipment damage, lost opportunities, or business interruption.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from a paid digital-product claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not permit certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
