Refund Policy

Effective Date: August 2, 2026

This Refund Policy applies to Nail That Tone and other digital purchases made through Cooper’s Guitar Hub, unless a different refund policy is displayed at checkout.

Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be waived.

1. Thirty-Day Nail That Tone Blueprint Guarantee

Nail That Tone includes a 30-day Blueprint Guarantee.

A buyer may request assistance or a refund within 30 calendar days of the original purchase date when a properly submitted Nail That Tone blueprint does not provide the promised customized tone plan for the gear and information entered.

Before issuing a satisfaction-based refund, we may provide one reasonable correction attempt at no additional blueprint-credit charge.

2. Information Required for a Guarantee Request

To evaluate a request, the buyer must provide:

  • Purchase email address
  • Approximate purchase date
  • Saved blueprint link or blueprint identifier
  • Artist and song entered
  • Gear information entered
  • A brief explanation of what did not match the submitted rig or promised output
  • Any relevant correction needed

Do not email payment-card numbers, passwords, or other sensitive information.

3. Correction Attempt

When appropriate, we may:

  • Review the submitted information
  • Correct a processing or formatting problem
  • Restore a credit
  • Provide one corrected blueprint
  • Clarify settings or equipment limitations

A reasonable correction attempt does not reduce the buyer’s original 30-day request window.

If the corrected process still does not provide the promised customized blueprint, the purchase may qualify for a refund.

4. Situations Normally Eligible for Review

Examples include:

  • The blueprint does not use the guitar or amplifier information submitted
  • Required blueprint sections are missing
  • The output is materially incomplete
  • The delivered output is unusable because of a verified application failure
  • The system deducts a credit without delivering a valid blueprint and fails to restore it
  • A correction attempt does not resolve a material mismatch

Eligibility is determined from the actual purchase, submission, saved output, and support history.

5. Situations Not Normally Eligible

A refund will normally not be issued for:

  • Change of mind after accessing or using the product
  • Expecting an exact duplicate of a professionally recorded, mixed, and mastered guitar tone
  • Dissatisfaction caused primarily by gear limitations disclosed in the blueprint
  • Refusal to follow calibration steps
  • Altering, omitting, or entering inaccurate gear information
  • Requesting settings for equipment not owned or listed
  • Differences caused by playing technique, volume, room acoustics, firmware, software version, equipment condition, strings, setup, pickups, or recording chain
  • Use of output outside Cooper’s Guitar Hub
  • Attempts to use, reveal, copy, distribute, resell, or reverse engineer the protected master prompt
  • Account sharing
  • Violation of the personal-use license
  • Requests submitted more than 30 days after purchase
  • Credits already substantially consumed where valid blueprints were delivered
  • A claim that the service failed solely because the result was not identical to an artist’s original studio recording

6. Credit Packs

Unused credit-pack purchases may be considered for refund when requested within 30 days and none of the purchased credits have been used.

When some purchased credits have been used, the credit pack is normally non-refundable unless required by law or a verified system error affected the purchase.

Credits have no cash-redemption value.

6a. Blueprint Add-Ons (Pedalboard Blueprint, Pickup Upgrade Matchmaker)

Each $19 add-on may be considered for refund within 30 days when:

  • The buyer has not generated a blueprint of that type, or
  • A verified technical failure prevents access to the purchased blueprint type and support cannot resolve it

Add-ons include no blueprint credits, so refunding an add-on does not remove credits purchased separately. Credits already consumed by delivered add-on blueprints are not restored.

7. Nail That Tone Pro

A Pro upgrade may be considered for refund within 30 days when:

  • The buyer has not used Pro generation features, or
  • A verified technical failure prevents the buyer from accessing the purchased Pro functionality and support cannot resolve it

Use of Pro generations may make the Pro upgrade non-refundable, except where required by law or where the service materially failed to provide the advertised feature.

8. Duplicate and Incorrect Charges

Accidental duplicate charges, incorrect amounts, or unauthorized charges are reviewed separately from satisfaction-based guarantee requests.

Contact us promptly with:

  • Purchase email
  • Date
  • Amount
  • Description of the duplicate or incorrect transaction

Do not send complete card information.

Verified duplicate charges will be corrected or refunded as appropriate.

9. Failed Generations

The application is designed to restore a reserved blueprint credit when generation fails before a valid blueprint is delivered.

A failed generation that automatically restores the credit does not by itself create a cash-refund entitlement because the buyer has not lost that blueprint credit.

Contact support if a failed generation does not restore the credit.

10. Effect of a Refund

When a Nail That Tone purchase is refunded:

  • Future generation access may be revoked
  • The associated entitlement may be marked refunded
  • Unused credits attributable to that purchase may be removed
  • Pro functionality may be disabled if the Pro purchase is refunded
  • Previously completed blueprints may remain accessible in read-only form
  • Transaction and audit records may be retained for accounting, fraud-prevention, legal, and support purposes

Refunded users may not continue using access or credits associated with the refunded purchase.

11. How to Request a Refund

Email: coopersguitarsetup@gmail.com

Subject: Nail That Tone Refund Request

Include the information listed in Section 2.

Requests are reviewed individually. Approval or denial will be communicated using the purchase email address.

12. Refund Method and Timing

Approved refunds are generally returned to the original payment method.

Processing time depends on Stripe, the card issuer, and the buyer’s financial institution.

We cannot guarantee the date on which the financial institution posts the refund.

13. Chargebacks

Please contact us first so we can investigate and attempt to resolve the issue.

Submitting a chargeback does not authorize continued use of refunded or disputed access.

We may suspend access associated with a disputed or reversed payment while the dispute is pending.
