This Privacy Policy explains how Cooper’s Guitar Setup & Repair (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use Cooper’s Guitar Hub, Nail That Tone, our related websites, and associated services.
By using the service, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
A. Account Information
When you create or use an account, we may collect:
- Name
- Email address
- Telephone number, when provided
- Login and authentication information
- Account role, plan, subscription, and product-entitlement information
- Account preferences and support communications
Passwords and authentication credentials are handled through the application’s authentication provider. We do not intentionally store your plain-text password.
B. Guitar, Practice, and Service Information
Depending on the features you use, we may collect information you enter about:
- Guitars, basses, and other instruments
- Brand, model, serial number, year, materials, pickups, hardware, and electronics
- Tunings, string gauges, measurements, setup specifications, repairs, and modifications
- Practice sessions, songs, notes, lyrics, markers, and uploaded files
- Service history, work orders, customer complaints, pricing, and repair notes
- Photos and other content you upload
C. Nail That Tone Information
When you use Nail That Tone, we may collect and process:
- Artist and song information
- Requested tone
- Guitar and pickup configuration
- String gauge and tuning
- Amplifier, modeler, cabinet, pedal, and effect information
- Playing environment and skill level
- Tone problems or goals you describe
- Generated tone blueprints
- Generation history, credits, entitlements, model used, generation status, token usage, processing cost, and technical error information
Do not submit confidential information, passwords, payment-card details, health information, or other highly sensitive personal information in Nail That Tone form fields.
D. Payment Information
Payments are processed by Stripe or another identified payment provider.
We may receive and store:
- Stripe customer identifier
- Checkout-session identifier
- Payment-intent identifier
- Product purchased
- Payment status
- Amount
- Currency
- Refund status
- Subscription status
- Limited billing and transaction information
We do not directly receive or store your complete payment-card number or card security code.
E. Technical and Usage Information
We and our service providers may automatically collect:

- Browser and device type
- Operating system
- Pages and features used
- Date and time of access
- Referring page
- Authentication and session information

- Generation duration
- API usage

2. How We Use Information

- Provide guitar, service-record, practice, and work-order features
- Process payments and maintain purchase entitlements
- Grant and track Nail That Tone blueprint credits
- Generate and save tone blueprints
- Provide customer support
- Send transaction, account, security, and service messages
- Prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and duplicate credit use
- Diagnose errors and improve reliability
- Enforce our Terms of Use and licensing restrictions
- Comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations

We do not sell personal information to advertisers.
3. Artificial Intelligence Processing
Nail That Tone uses artificial intelligence to create customized tone blueprints.
Information submitted for a generation may be transmitted through Lovable’s AI Gateway and processed by one or more third-party artificial-intelligence providers.
The provider used may change based on availability, quality, safety, cost, or technical requirements.
AI providers may process your submitted gear and song information to generate the requested output. Their handling of data is also governed by their applicable terms and privacy policies.
Do not enter information into the generator that you do not want transmitted to an AI-processing provider.
AI output may contain mistakes, incomplete information, approximate product names, or settings that vary by firmware, software version, equipment condition, room, playing technique, and volume.
4. How We Share Information
We may share information with service providers that help us operate the service, including providers of:
- Cloud hosting
- Databases
- Authentication
- Payment processing
- Email delivery
- Application monitoring
- Security
- File storage
- Artificial-intelligence processing
- Customer support
These providers receive information only as reasonably necessary to perform services for us.
We may also disclose information:
- When legally required
- To respond to lawful requests
- To protect users, property, safety, or legal rights
- To investigate fraud or abuse
- As part of a merger, acquisition, financing, asset transfer, or business sale
- With your consent or at your direction

Deleted content may remain temporarily in backups, logs, fraud-prevention records, or legally required records.
Completed Nail That Tone blueprints may remain available in read-only form after an entitlement is refunded or revoked, as described in the Refund Policy and Terms of Use.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information.
These safeguards may include authentication controls, encrypted connections, access restrictions, role-based permissions, row-level database security, server-side secret storage, payment-provider security, logging, and monitoring.
No online service can guarantee complete security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and notifying us if you believe your account has been compromised.
8. Your Choices and Requests
You may contact us to request:
- Access to certain personal information
- Correction of inaccurate account information
- Deletion of eligible account information
- Information about how your data is used
- Assistance with account closure
Some information may be retained where necessary for payment records, fraud prevention, tax obligations, legal compliance, disputes, or enforcement of agreements.

9. Children’s Privacy
The service is not directed to children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that such information has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Users under 18 may use the service only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. Purchases must be made by an adult or with the adult’s authorization.

We are not responsible for the privacy, security, content, or practices of third parties. Review their policies before providing information.

The service is operated from the United States. Information may be stored or processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.

We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices, services, providers, or legal requirements change.
The revised policy will display a new effective date. Continued use after a revision means the revised policy applies to future use.
